Labneh is a fresh tangy ‘hung curd’ soft cheese ubiquitous in the homes of the Levant - from Turkey to Egypt. Labneh is traditionally enjoyed with sourdough flatbreads, lashings of extra virgin olive oil and a generous sprinkling of za’atar - a mix of salted sumac berry, levant herbs and toasted sesame powder.

Happy Belly’s Raw Labneh is prepared from local organic raw milk from Commonwork Organic Dairy, Bough Beech, TN8 7AR. The labneh cheese is hand rolled into balls and pickled in EV olive oil and za’atar.

Happy Belly’s Raw Labneh does not need refrigeration as long as the labneh remains fully submerged in the oil bath.
